I grew up watching my parents work around the clock—sacrificing everything so that I could have opportunities they never had. As the first in my family born in the U.S., the first to go to college, and the first to earn a corporate salary, I thought I was doing everything right. But once the paychecks started coming in, I realized I had no idea how to actually manage money—no one had ever taught me. I carried debt, guilt, and the pressure to support my family, all while trying to figure out how to build a better future. And like so many first-gen professionals, I felt like I had to figure it all out on my own.

Where I started

I started Worth The Happiness because I know what it feels like to be the first—to make more money than your family ever has, but still feel lost, overwhelmed, and afraid of messing it all up. I’m a first-gen daughter of Vietnamese immigrants who grew up with hustle, sacrifice, and zero financial education. I had to figure it out the hard way—but you don’t have to. My coaching program exists to give you the clear, judgment-free guidance I wish I had—so you can finally feel confident with your money and start building real wealth.
I finally took control

Since then, I’ve paid off over $100K in debt, built a six-figure net worth by age 27, and learned to invest consistently to grow my wealth. I support my family in many ways financially—and I’m still on track to retire by 40. Best of all, I now have a positive relationship with money. I spend based on what I value most—travel, good food, and quality time with the people I love. I’ve stopped operating from fear and scarcity, and instead created a life that makes me happy.
